I haven't written a journal since the beginning of the semester. And since my hands are too stiff from playing video games, I'm probably gonna keep this as short, sweet, and sexy as I can.
The school year's been prettttyyyy rough. I've never been so frustrated and stressed in my entire life, but I figured that was just something I had to get used to, so I just kept pushing. I always had to keep reminding myself that I'm here because I have dreams that I want to fulfill, whether it's in the way I expected them to be fulfilled or not.
Other than my usual "Embrace your dreams!" rambling, I've been pretty okay.
Now that break has started (well...actually it started about a week ago...) I've been trying to keep myself occupied with things that I enjoy doing, that I never had time for while I was at school, such as drawing and video games. A LOT of video games...
And of course, practical things that I enjoy putting my productive effort into, such as a game demo I'm working with a team on, concepts for that a story that I've been trying to revive, and a comic that I'm contributing to along with my friends.
My Christmas holiday so far has been pretty swell. I celebrated with a delicious meal with my family, as always, as well as some bonding and stuff. As for presents, I don't usually get much for Christmas anyways, but this year, my Christmas gift was a little different. In fact, it was like, the greatest Christmas gift ever, haha.
My gift from my parents was my ticket to Distant Worlds: The Celebration in Chicago for Final Fantasy's 25th anniversary! And I can't even tell you how great of a time I had. It was like that sensation you get when you go to Disney World, but so much better.
Anyways, I said I was gonna keep this
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! Hope you all have a swell time

just always remember that along with low points in a person's life, there are GREAT things like marvelous concerts
